March 2015 Disneyland Trip

Heyo! So I promised you a post and here it is. I went to Disneyland with Little Le Sunday-to Thursday (we left on Thursday) and had a great time! We stayed at the Double Tree Hotel in Anaheim. It is very close and provides a bus service. We found it to be quite nice.

We Need To Talk About the New Star Wars Rebels Episode

So, the TV show Star Wars Rebels has just stirred some very interesting things into the mix. First, we have the fact that the villain, The Inquisitor, died. His last moments were he was clinging onto something so he would not fall into the raging fire below, and his last words were "You don't know what you've unleashed today. Some things are far more terrifying than death." as he releases his grip and plunges into the explosion. Next, Ahsoka Tano shows up at the end. For no reason at all, she has a cameo, along with Bail Organa. And since they need to have a new Sith dude, guess who they get? DARTH VADER! Star Wars Rebels has certainly gotten a while lot more interesting this week, and I think that Star Wars fans worldwide were on the edge of their seats this entire episode!

Review of Toddler Cinderella Plush

So, being me,  I went down to the mall to get some Panda Express. And, being me, I stopped in the Disney Store. And, being me, AGAIN,  I left with an adorable purchase.

May I present to you… Princess Cinderella!

She was so adorbs. I have Toddler Elsa already plus a Toddler Rapunzel & Toddler Ariel from the Parks. And baby Pegasus in a blanket, also from the Parks. So lil' Ella was gonna fit in pretty well. I am going to be completely honest with you… this picture looks exactly like what you get. One thing that always bugs me about the toddler dolls is Disney has to give them blush (they're 5, they don't wear blush) but the blush is different every time, so every time I have to go through a pile of dolls trying to find one that doesn't look like a doll from a horror movie. But the Ellas are all the same, and I think her 'makeup' looks perfect. One of my favorite things:

Her little bow!

If you're a fan of Cinderella, then I would definitely not skip her. She is adorable and cuddly.

Living Cuddly Ever After,
Vanessa

Review of 'Cinderella' 2015

I saw Cinderella today. I think Kenneth Branagh did a great job on this one. (Fun fact: He & Helena Bonham Carter used to date!). Helena did an amazing job as the Fairy Godmother, who narrates the film. I have never seen Lily James in anything before, but she was a convincing Cinderella. And Frozen Fever. Oh I loved it. I want half the stuff Anna got for her birthday, especially the cuckoo clock that has Olaf jumping out and saying, 'Summer!'.

Have you seen Cinderella? If so, tell me what you thought of it in comments!

Top 5 Cinderella Merchandise

In honor of Disney's newest Live Action movie Cinderella coming out, I have compiled some awesome pictures of merch available. Its going to be my Top 5 Fave Cinderella Merch.

#5:
This beautiful LE Cinderella Costume for Girls. Its stunning. My only complaint is that if I were to purchase it, I would never let anyone wear it. ;)

#4:

This delicate tea set will enchant any fan. My only complaint: I would have extreme depression and would most likely need therapy if anything happened to this set. It just looks so fragile…

#3:

Lovely LE Ball Cinderella Doll. 129.95 from disneystore.com.

#2:

LE Wedding Cinderella. Very beautiful. 500.00 from disneystore.com.

#1:

This takes the cake as my absolute favorite. This is an actual wedding dress by Alfred Angelo that is meant to be a replica of the one Lily James wears in the film. I have never wished so much that I was gonna get married soon. You can learn about it at disneyweddings.com.

PLUS ONE EXTRA:

Disney Store Frozen Fever Anna Plush

LE Cinderella Doll Review

Okay, confession time: I don't own this doll. I would love to, but cannot afford a $500 doll. I am just going to compare her to the other Disney Store Wedding Cinderella and share some photos.

One up close photo of her…

Her veil…

A wider shot of her dress & veil…

A photo of her outdoors (note: DEFINITELY not recommended)

The details on the bottom of her dress…

And when you close her box, this is how it looks…

I think she's absolutely gorgeous, but having not seen her in person, I can't really judge.

The Disney Store open edition 'Wedding Cinderella & her Prince' set is also available at this time. For 69.99, you get the happy (or not so happy) couple.

This is the only pic i'm gonna upload of the Prince, cause he's not what i'm talking about right now.

Here is a close up of her. She & the Prince look really unhappy.

Here is a full shot of her. All in all, the dolls look about the same except for the dresses (and the LE one looks even more unhappy than the OE, if possible!), so i'd just go with the 69.99 over the 500, plus bonus Prince Kit ;)
